Fartsy Arts is having a Giveaway!!!

Hi folks!!

Life has been a little nuts lately but full of excitement and adventures! I would love to re-cap the beginning of summer for you but I will have to wait until my move is over.  I am moving into a cute little house with a large backyard, vintage appliances, and those adorable features an old home has.  I can't wait to invite you into my new space in Austin, but for now, I would like to share what is going on RIGHT. THIS. MINUTE. (and until Thursday at midnight!)

A GIVEAWAY!!!

You are all invited to participate!!!

I am very excited to launch this new collection.  It has been on my mind for a while, and thanks to TechShop in Austin-Round Rock, I not have an awesome workplace to create all of the ideas rolling around in my head.

These earrings were first launched locally at The Mini Maker Faire at TechShop and then at The Big Crafty in Asheville, NC!  I have a staff of optometrists now sporting these at work at a local business in NC.  How cool!!!!

Good luck to you!! Don't forget to let me know your favorite color or a color you would like to see.

These are also available with dainty Swarovski crystals - ohh la la.

Check out my Etsy shop to have a peek.

xo,
Casey

Ah!! I am back on track!! I swear!

The last several days threw some unexpected curve balls towards me so I sincerely apologize to anyone who waits in anticipation for the ramblings of moi!

I am back, with a dented bank account, thanks to my jerky car who waited until I moved halfway across the country to throw a little hissy fit... well two hissy fits. I have been dealing with jumper cables, tow trucks, language barriers, and well, a lot of other stuff but I put my big girl panties on and I am back in action.

Let's catch up with a little late but better than never post about our Monday artists! Shall we??

{ONE!}
Yee-Haw Industries - Letterpress!!!!
Knoxville, TN

They say, and I quote, "All Letterpress, All The time." Really, really great stuff. The one thing I regret about our Knoxville, TN trip is that we never got to their store.
So sad.

{TWO!}
Miss Fitt
North Carolina
Website

This artist has some really amazing items. She was positioned across from me at a holiday show one year and I just had to stare (and visit, a lot) at her work all day. I am pretty sure I just kept trying on a things but can't pull it off as well as this gal.

I have been seeing a TON of adorable little baby and kid things ALL over and I can't help but koo and oogle and awwww and get the urge to PINCH something!!! These craaaazy cute pieces are fit for that special wee one in your life. What kid WOULDN'T want an awesome pirate hat or the chance to turn into an amazing animal.

I love the sneak peek into her work space as well... check out the website!!!

My favorite is this mustard yellow buckle! I love circles..my favorite shape.. and I am currently OBSESSED with this color.

Holiday Boot Camp - Salut!

I have decided to give this a try this year. Why not? This is a time for change. New move, new decade..the 30s, new job...I want to make this business work. Sounds like a good place to start.

I, __Casey Janowski___, pledge to participate in the Etsy Success Holiday Boot Camp to the best of my abilities. I vow to check in every week, do my homework and support my fellow Holiday Boot Campers. I will read the weekly newsletters and blog posts, check in on the weekly forum thread, read the weekly blog post, check off the checklists and salute the mascot. I promise to share what I’ve learned with those who need it, support my fellow Etsy indiepreneurs and, most of all, have a positive and persistent attitude. I understand that together we can spread the word about our handmade and vintage goods, making this holiday season a more unique and meaningful one to gift givers and give-ees everywhere!

Let's do it!! WOO

That's right you're not from Texas But Texas wants you anyway

This morning's post deserves a great big "Howdy Y'all!"

Last night I went to bed pretty early, I must have needed some extra sleep and I must say, it was worth it!

This morning I woke up to an e-mail from a fella in Austin that I wrote about a rental for Austin City Limits weekend, which also happens to be my birthday weekend. We truly wanted to spend it there with friends but I don't think it is going to work out. Oh ACL.. you really put a damper on things!!!

But, there was some good that came out of things. I may have found a potential dwelling!! I think that the moving date will be the end of October to arrive in Austin on November 1st!! I am about to burst at the seems with excitement.

In honor of this day, I am posting my Cowboy and Cowgirl picture frame on Etsy. Isn't it darling??
